About This Campaign
10 for 10 for the future
For 10 years, Souper Troopers has been helping people living on the streets take sustainable steps towards independence. They operate The Humanity Hub, a service centre based in Woodstock, Cape Town, at which they provide a comprehensive range of services that address the holistic needs of a human being.
“Troopers who join our psychosocial developmental programme receive the essentials (clothes, food, and toiletries) and have access to a full range of resources, which include counselling, skills training, enrolment in courses, medical referrals, family mediation, job readiness preparation, and creative workshops,” says founder and executive director, Kerry Hoffman. “Witnessing their personal development is the best part of my job, even when this means saying goodbye to the many Troopers who go on to full-time employment.”
