This Mandela Day, Badisa invites you to be part of something meaningful — 67 minutes that can create a lifetime of impact.

Through our Wall of Care campaign, we are calling on every South African to help us build hope, safety, dignity and belonging for vulnerable children and families in our care. Every contribution becomes a symbolic “brick” in this wall — a brick that represents love, protection, resilience and a brighter future.

Our Alternative Care programmes provide safe, loving care for children who cannot currently remain with their biological families. This includes foster care, adoption support, Child and Youth Care Centres, and other family-based care solutions.

The campaign theme, “Same Love, Different Family,” reminds us that family is not only defined by tradition. Just like the seahorse, where the male carries and nurtures its young, love and commitment can take many forms. What matters most is that every child feels safe, valued and cared for.
