Brian Chinsamy, former Trustee of the Early Care Foundation, is taking on his second Back-to-Back Comrades Marathon on 14 June 2026, running from Durban to Pietermaritzburg in support of early childhood development in South Africa.
Having served on the ECF Trust for 20 years, Brian has seen first-hand the powerful impact that quality early learning, strong ECD centres and dedicated practitioners can have on young children and their communities. This run is his way of continuing to champion the work of the Early Care Foundation and helping raise funds for future ECD projects.
Brian is inviting friends, family, colleagues, leadership programme participants and supporters of early childhood education to donate R10 for every kilometre he runs. Every contribution will help strengthen the foundations children need to learn, grow and thrive.
