In association with Friends of Daniel, help support Thulasizwe School for Autism, Soweto, South Africa to build a kitchen and food technology classroom which will double up as a Bakery to serve the local community.

Founded in 2016 as the first autism school in Soweto, Thulasizwe School provides education and support for 100 students aged 4-18. Meals are currently prepared in a temporary, makeshift kitchen to ensure the seamless operation of a year-round feeding scheme aimed at supporting the community. Our older students, talented and eager to learn, previously practiced chef skills at facilities outside the school. Unfortunately, this arrangement was not sustainable.

To continue nurturing their talents and fostering independence, we urgently need two essential facilities:

1. A Kitchen:  Fully fitted, to prepare daily meals that sustain our students throughout the year.

2. A Food Technology Classroom: To teach life skills, independence, and empower students through practical lessons.
