My name is Reatlegile, I am 16 years old, and I have been selected for a highly competitive Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, starting on 13 July 2026.
This programme focuses on using artificial intelligence to solve real-world healthcare challenges such as disease diagnosis, improving patient care, strengthening health systems, and understanding how AI can reduce the time and cost required to develop new medicines and treatments.
I have always been curious and passionate about learning, and over time this has grown into a strong interest in artificial intelligence and how it can be used to create positive change in society.
I have been working hard to build my skills in this field, and I am continuing to learn and develop them further. I participated in the global Teens in AI programme, where my team earned 1st place in the 2024 Hackathon.
