Matthew is a warm-hearted man who has dedicated the past 15 years to working as a builder in South Africa to ensure that his wife and three children in Malawi have the bare necessities for a happy life. In 2020, he decided to take on the monumental task of building a home for his family, a project that reflects his deep love and commitment. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and pride in his work, Matthew approaches every task with care, whether it’s plastering a wall or any other aspect of construction.

Matthew not only supports his own family but also looks after his two sisters and their families. Both sisters, who are widows and manage small businesses, rely on his assistance. In total, Matthew provides for ten people. His responsibilities also include paying school fees for six children, one of whom is in high school.
