Help give vulnerable babies a better start

Many new mothers welcome their babies with little to none of the basic essentials needed at the time of giving birth. No blankets. No nappies. No toiletries. No basic comforts.

For these moms, a simple maternity pack filled with basic essentials is more than just practical help. It is dignity, relief, comfort and a reminder that someone cares.

This July, volunteers across Johannesburg, Hillcrest and Vanderbijlpark will come together to pack 1,500 maternity packs for vulnerable mothers and their newborn babies. 

We are raising funds to purchase the outstanding hygiene products we still need for our maternity packs:

• 1,200 packs of nappies
• 700 packs of wet wipes
• 700 packs of sanitary pads
• 1,200 bum creams
• 700 baby soaps
• 700 aqueous creams

Every single donation matters, no matter the amount. Every contribution brings us one step closer to placing a much-needed maternity pack into the hands of a vulnerable mother and her newborn.

Together, we can bring dignity and support to 1,500 mothers.
