We are deeply moved by the outpouring of support and generosity we have received following the unexpected loss of our beloved father, David "Shaka" Macgregor. He was a revered surfing teacher who passed away suddenly on February 26 while riding his board at the age of 55.

Thanks to your incredible contributions, we have made significant progress in our Back-a-Buddy funding campaign. The funds raised so far have been crucial in helping us maintain Shaka Shack Backpackers and Surf School, nestled in a coastal dune forest in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, during this difficult time.
