Our family is facing the hardest chapter of our lives, and we are reaching out with hope and humility to ask for your help.

On 3 September 2025, Steven was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. It has spread to his brain and thyroid, causing seizures and adding to the challenges he now faces.

Since his diagnosis, Steven has shown unwavering courage. He underwent radiation and chemotherapy, facing every session the way he’s always faced challenges: with the utmost determination and courage. Even in the face of so much uncertainty, Steven continues to remain positive, determined to keep showing up, to keep living, and to keep being there for his family in every way he can.

Previous treatments were only made possible through the kindness and support of family, as Steven does not have medical aid.

After further testing, we received news that was both difficult and hopeful: the cancer has not spread further, but it has also not shrunk.

Despite everything, we have been given a renewed sense of hope. Steven is now eligible for further treatment that could help...
