In loving Memory of Joshua Afrika

On Saturday, we lost an extraordinary young man, Joshua Afrika known to all of us as Josh unexpectedly, at just 24 years old. Josh was not only a talented rugby player, but also a passionate youth leader and drummer in his church choir, inspiring everyone around him with his faith, his energy, and his leadership. He lived his life with integrity, kindness, and a deep love for those around him, always guided by God’s example.

Josh had a way of lighting up every room he entered. His laughter, his joy, and his unwavering support for others made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. He was loved and respected by his peers, his teammates, and his community  a true role model both on and off the field. Whether it was mentoring young people, leading the choir, or cheering on his rugby team, Josh gave his all to everything he did.

He was deeply loved by his family, friends, and his fiancée, Keesha. They were about to start their life together, and this sudden, unimaginable loss has left a hole that can never truly be filled.
