JOY MATTERS!
Some years ago little burn-survivor named Patience, lay crying in a hospital bed, as she awaited her painful bandage change.
Fearful and distressing moments like these - effect all in the ward. But this moment, a beautiful something different happened. A Joy Facilitator arrived and began to sing Patience's favourite song, “Jesus Loves Me" was sung gently and she softened. Her breathing steadied. The fear eased. Weeks later, Patience was seen picking up the walkie-talkies and then she began singing to another little boy going through his bandage change.
That is the ripple effect of joy. Stories like these are many - through the 54k people we've UPlifted.
Now we have Joy-Works - a tribe of people - who we can count on to grow joy.
