Let's get Cornel Metcalfe to UTMB- Mont Blanc 2026

South Africa's most successful 100 Mile race ladies finisher, Cornel Metcalfe is seeking your assistance to get her to the UTMB World Series Finals at the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc race in August this year. Having already being selected to participate, she is requesting financial donations to help fund the cost of getting herself and her husband (support team) to the start line in Chamonix, France. The funds will be primarily used for the entry cost, flights, transfers, accommodation and the supporters transport packages.

Having already completed more than fifty 100 Mile races around South Africa, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join the best athletes at the world's most pinnacle event in trail running. Testament to her grit and ability to complete races of such nature, was her result at the UTMB MUT last year. A race she should never had started considering she woke up the morning of the race with flu symptoms. After a serious fall the first evening she still managed to finish the race as the fifth lady and first in her age category.
