Rallying for Emmah's Sister: Cancer Surgery Fund

In our home, Emmah is much more than someone who works with us—she is an integral part of our family. Today, her family is facing a critical medical emergency, and we are doing everything we can to rally behind them.

Emmah’s sister, Vimbai, lives in Zimbabwe and has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. To stop the cancer from spreading, she urgently needs surgery to remove her womb.

The total cost of this life-saving procedure is R40,000. Because of how the medical system works there, hospitals require 100% of the funds upfront before they will schedule the operation. No one should lose their life over something as arbitrary as a lack of immediate money, but without this cash, the surgery simply cannot happen.
