The Gabriella Effect is a family-led mission for justice, accountability, systemic reform and ending GBVF in South Africa.

We are the family of Nonkululeko Gabriella “Gaby” Luenza Ndaba, and we are raising funds to support the ongoing work connected to seeking justice for Gaby’s case. We are also creating space for broader conversations around stabilisation, policing, social development, public safety, and justice in South Africa.
This mission is deeply personal, but it has never been about one family alone. Gaby’s case has exposed painful gaps in the systems meant to protect people, support families, and uphold justice. Through The Gabriella Effect, we want to honour her life by making space for families and communities failed, ignored, or left to carry broken systems alone.
