Themba

Themba is a husband and a father. He works hard. He carries more than most people know, and he does it without letting it turn him bitter.

Let's use social media for good. Themba has worked for us (The Burlingames) for almost ten years. This past year, a lot of people came to know him online. Strangers became a kind of community around one good man. But the videos only show the smile. They do not show the weight he carries when the camera is off.

Themba is raising his children. He is also facing a serious health condition while working a very physical job. He does this without the safety net most of us take for granted. 

This campaign is a chance to change that. Everything raised goes to Themba and his family, toward three things:

School for his children. Fees, uniforms, and the costs that keep a child in the classroom.

A home. A safe, solid house his family can build their lives in.

His health.
